"Y'know who I am? I'm awes-- I mean Zik. Zik's the name! Eheh..." ~ Zik

Zik is an Irken with a very optimistic and self-centered personality, and could be considered selfish most of the time. He's rather happy-go-lucky most of the time, but is easily angered.

Appearance

He is about 5 feet 6, so he is an alright height according to the Empire, however his personality hides the "potential" completely. His skin is a fair green, eyes are a bright red, and he has normal male antennae. However, he wears Earth clothing (tshirts, jeans, anything in trend). He changes his clothes according to "this week's fashion trend", which is an obvious point that he loves to be stylish as long as it's trendy.

Most say that he actually looks like a girl, with his femininish voice and strangely skinny structure. Despite the fact that he eats junk food alot, he does seem to keep fit by excercising almost constantly.

Personality/A Bit About Him

He, as said above, has a very happy-go-lucky personality, and hates to be around the "sappy stuff".

Although he claims to not exactly hate anyone, going with his happy and "slightly" egotistic attitude, he actually has a disliking for the Empire. Most others who dislike the Empire have witnessed deaths or have been "nearly killed" by it, or some other event involving a broken desire. However, he is different. Zik simply dislikes the rules there, and thinks that they're too strict and possibly a little stupid. He usually says that he doesn't like loyalists, but he does have a few friends that are. Another reason he dislikes it is because he was hated most of his life, and has been called names such as "monster", despite the fact that he looks like an average Irken on the outside.

History

Zik was born as an experiment for a project on Irk. The project involved a testing of Irken DNA, testing to see if there could be possible ways of creating super Irken clones. They used defectives for this, and Zim was one of them, who was about 10 or less at the time. Zik was the second cloned attempt on Zim, Miz being the first.

He caused a great deal of chaos when he was put in special training, using strange sparks of power that he didn't know how to control well. After only a day of this, he was kicked out of the labs, and was sent to an "orphanage". This orphanage was made for young Irkens who had done bad deeds (escape to the surface, for example), and the smeets there were used for labor (building ships, making snacks, etc.).

Despite the labor, he had met a girl named Leni. They had become very close friends, even to the point to a childish love. He was there until he was 5, when Zim was 15 or 16. At this time, it was OID1. During Zim's rampage on the Megadoomer, he had set fire to the orphanage, which began falling apart. Leni had died, causing him to be traumatized, until he was hit by falling debris. He managed to wake up, however he had lost all of his memory, and he fled the ruins.

The smeet lived on the streets until he was 7. During these 2 years, he caused a bit more chaos. However, it was mostly for survival... Or so he called it, he usually did steal things for fun instead of survival. Many actually wanted to kill him because of his acts. He was found by Miz, who was an elite at the time. She took him in after she saved him from a ship he was about to crash (he occasionally stole Voots and other vehicles). They lived in her appartment for a while, and they were eventually found by Zim. After a while of a slowly-bonding friendship, they began to realize that they're "related". Unfortunately, Miz disappeared a few days later, and Zim eventually accidentally abandoned him. He lived back on the streets until he was 11.

He was accidentally made a pilot in the Massive, since he still had traces of himself in the Irk archives, and they mistook him as another random Irken. This didn't last very long. On the first day, he crashed the Massive onto a planet surface. He was only kept because they were desparate for pilots, and no one else was really trained yet. Also, they didn't really care about the inhabitants on the planet, anyway. Soon after, when he was reminded of Zim's existance, he "quit his job", and fled to Earth. The Tallests and other pilots felt very relieved of his disappearance.

Zik eventually found Zim, after a 6 month ride. Zim only barely remembered him, but he saw him as a new "slave" for his "amazing army" for a while. Miz lived there, too, but didn't know him at all, which disappointed him greatly. However, they got used of each other, and warmed up to one another, and became a family.

Abilities/Powers

When he had amnesia, he lost his knowledge of having any abilities. However, at around age 12, he realized his abilities again. They turned out to be dream-based, which means he has the ability to manipulate/read/control the subconscious of almost any being. He also has the ability to see spirits and demons, and communicate with them. It's also said he can enter the Spirit Realm, but it takes loads of mana.

His beliefs center around the Dreamworld rather than a religion. He claims that every being has a Dreamworld, which is basically the subconscious mind, or "realm". He also has the power to bring others into his Dreamworld, and even seal them inside as he wishes (though, normally, people can wake up on their own once inside).

Weaknesses

Zik, despite his power, has his weaknesses. His most notable weakness is that he is extremely immune to dark energies/attacks. When near dark energy, he begins to go weak, and possibly even ache. If it's strong enough, he may even pass out. Ghost attacks can sometimes affect him, similar to how dark energies/attacks drain him.

He also has the common Irken contanimated water weakness, which isn't very notable.

Danmaku - Journey to Gensokyo!

Other than just simply being psychic, he can also use a special device to travel between dimensions. One day, when messing with his device, he had accidentally appeared in Gensokyo. He was quickly found by Marisa Kirisame. Although it ended up in a battle, since Zik is considered a youkai. It actually ended up in a tie, with Zik nearly losing. Despite, they became friends very soon after. He became extremely interested in what Marisa was doing, and, after some begging, Marisa decided to train him.

Zik borrowed Marisa's spells, about 6.

He has a curve-handle scythe that is his second-signature weapon. It is used for many non-spellcard danmaku (referred to as "bullets", actually).

Hammer

This is his orginal weapon, a giant sledgehammer. His first one was destroyed, however a new one was made, and is a massive improvement from the previous.

Relations

Zim - The "older brother". He loves him very much, despite his sour attitude most of the time. He'd do anything to protect him, even though they get into arguments constantly.

Dib - Believe it or not, he's actually best friends with Dib. When he arrived on Earth, he had met Dib along the way. A rather crazy story; there was a sugar vampire that attacked, and he had saved the human from being killed. They grew a friendly bond and created a "broship" as Zik calls it at least. Zik was

accepted into the Swollen Eyeball Network after a while, as they needed more Investigators/Hunters.

Touhou 12.8 Fairy Wars Music 8 - メイガスナイト Magus Night

Second "Hard Mode" theme ... It gets more serious.

Menami - He actually has a "little" crush on her, and tries his hardest to get her attention and to see him as a hero. He even created her "casual outfit", and it even shifts into armor... Also gave her an energy sword.

Vex - He doesn't really know him that well... Seems cool, though.

Bad_Apple!!_remix_9_(Getsumen_Chakuriku_Phage)

Bad Apple!! remix 9 (Getsumen Chakuriku Phage)

A "Bad Apple!!" Remix, his "Lunatic Mode" theme. It feels like a "THIS IS THE END OF YOU" sort of thing. ... Well, so does Magus Night, but this has a bouncier beat. It indicates much higher energy and power. Magus Night has the scary sort of feeling, indicating a high dosage of kick-butt. I think these two have equal amount of feels.

Vax - Someone he briefly knows, but realizes that he is close (as a mentor) to Menami. He considers him a nice friend, though he wants to get to know him better.

Jib - Someone he knows as much as the two above... He really wants to know these people, without "hacking into their minds" first. Maybe later.

Lurk - He thinks of him as a weirder version of Zim, honestly.

Xisenin  - Someone he thought of as an enemy, especially for touching Menami... Though they get along very nicely now, and considers him a bro.
